- Chickpeas (kabuli chana), soaked
- Maida / Anveshan Khapli Atta (bhature)
- Curd (for bhature dough)
- Onion, tomato, ginger-garlic
- Chole masala
💡 You can also use Mustard Oil / Sunflower Oil / Coconut Oil / Black Sesame Oil / Olive Oil as per your preference.
How to Make Chole Bhature

Pressure-cook the chickpeas until soft with a tea-bag or amla for colour.

Make a masala with onion, tomato, ginger-garlic and chole masala in a little oil; add the chana and simmer, then finish with an Anveshan Ghee tadka.

For bhature, knead flour with curd, a little oil and salt into a soft dough; rest 2 hours.
Tips for the Best Chole Bhature
- ✓Rest the bhatura dough well (2+ hours) so they puff up.
- ✓Fry bhature in hot oil and spoon oil over them to help them balloon.
