  • Besan (gram flour)
  • Curd (yoghurt)
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Salt

How to Make Gatte Ki Sabji

  1. 1

    Knead the besan with 1 tbsp Anveshan Ghee, salt and a little water into a firm dough; roll into ropes and boil for 8 minutes.

    Cut the boiled ropes into small gatte (dumplings) and keep the cooking water.

    Whisk the curd with turmeric, chilli and coriander powder.

Tips for the Best Gatte Ki Sabji

  • Whisk the curd well and add on low heat so it doesn't split.
  • Save the gatte boiling water — it thickens the gravy and adds flavour.
