How to Make Khajoor-Imli (Date & Tamarind) Chutney

Soak the tamarind and dates in 3 cups warm water for 15 minutes.

Simmer the soaked dates and tamarind (with the water) for 10 minutes until very soft, then cool and blend smooth. Strain.

Return to the pan with the Anveshan Jaggery Powder, roasted cumin, dry ginger and black salt; simmer 8–10 minutes until glossy and pourable.
