- Sabudana (sago pearls)
- Potatoes
- Roasted peanuts (coarsely crushed)
- Green chillies
- Cumin seeds
- Lemon juice
- Rock salt (sendha namak)
How to Make Sabudana Vada

Rinse and soak sabudana in just enough water for 4-5 hours until soft and fluffy, then drain well.

Boil, peel and mash the potatoes, then combine with the soaked sabudana.

Add crushed peanuts, chopped green chillies, cumin seeds, lemon juice and rock salt, then drizzle in 1 tbsp melted Anveshan Ghee and mix into a dough.
Tips for the Best Sabudana Vada
- βSoak the sabudana until a pearl mashes easily between your fingers for the right texture.
- βAdd the coarsely crushed peanuts for crunch and to help bind the mixture.
