How to Make Til (Sesame) Chutney

Dry-roast the sesame seeds on low heat until golden and popping; cool.

Roast the dry red chillies briefly in the same pan.

Grind the sesame, garlic, chillies, tamarind and salt to a coarse chutney with a little water.

- βGrind while the seeds are still warm for a creamier paste.
