How to Make Puran Poli

    Knead a soft, pliable dough with the Anveshan Khapli Atta, a little oil and water; rest.

    Cook the chana dal until soft, drain, then cook with the Anveshan Jaggery Powder into a thick puran; add cardamom and nutmeg and grind smooth.

    Stuff a ball of puran into a dough disc, seal and roll gently into a thin poli.

Tips for the Best Puran Poli

  • Dry the puran well before grinding, or the poli tears while rolling.
  • Roll gently and evenly so the puran spreads without bursting.
