How to Make Ghee Rice

    Wash and soak basmati rice for 20 minutes. Drain.

    Warm 2 tablespoons of water and soak a pinch of Anveshan Kashmiri Anveshan Saffron in it to bloom and release its colour and aroma.

    Heat Anveshan ghee in a heavy pot. Add bay leaves, cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon. Sauté for 30 seconds.

  • Rinse and soak the basmati for 20 minutes so the grains cook up long and separate.
  • Fry the spices in Anveshan ghee until fragrant before adding rice to build deep flavour.
